Kim Taylor

Barre-Bie

Kim's Journey in Fitness and Yoga

Kim began her journey in group fitness over 20 years ago as an ACE-certified instructor, where she found joy in helping students feel better and grow stronger. Over time, her focus evolved to encompass yoga, barre, and Pilates.

Discovering Yoga

Initially, Kim practiced yoga after cardio workouts but soon realized that yoga is much more than just physical postures. In 2020, she completed her RYT 200 training with Lake Hartwell Yoga School in Lavonia, Georgia. Her favorite yoga style is Vinyasa, and she strives to share meaningful intentions, sequences, and breathwork with her students. She is currently pursuing her RYT 500 credential with "My Vinyasa Practice" yoga school.

Teaching Barre

For over ten years, Kim has taught barre classes, which she finds perfectly synergistic with yoga. Her favorite barre program, "Barre Above," blends ballet, yoga, Pilates, and strength training movements, and is the program she currently teaches.

Personal Life and Interests

Kim is excited to connect with you and inspire your wellness journey. She loves cool mountain weather and lives on a farm in South Carolina with Hereford cattle, goats, dogs, and cats, where she grows vintage flowers.
